As we remember Christ's presentation in the temple, we light a candle and remember our own baptismal vows. Join us 10.00am this Sunday.

Epiphany crib scene

The season of Epiphany is now upon us and each Sunday at 10.00am when we hold our Eucharist service, there is the opportunity to view our crib scene with the three Magi presenting their gifts.

St Stephen's Day - Monday 26th December

Parish Eucharist at 11.00am to mark our Patronal Festival. So often just referred to as Boxing Day, it's easy to forget that 26th December is in fact St Stephen's Day, marking the sacrifice made by the first Christian martyr. In the words of the famous carol, join us "on the Feast of Stephen".

Christmas Day

10.00am Parish Eucharist with carols and readings with a festive celebration to follow. Join us as we celebrate the birth of Christ. We wish everyone in the Parish or visiting St Stephen's over the coming week, a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful new year.

The Manger at Bethlehem

Christmas Eve at 5.00pm we will be holding our candlelit service, The Manger at Bethlehem, featuring carols, readings and poetry reflecting on the birth of Christ. Do join us for this lovely service and reception following.

Sponsored Carol Success!

As the money rolls in, it looks as if we will have made over £600 from our Sponsored Carol Sing in aid of our church refurbishments. All 100 carols were sung with great enthusiasm and the mulled wine was well deserved at the end!

Sponsored Carol Sing - We need you to sponsor us!

On Sunday 4th December starting around 11.30am we will be embarking on a Sponsored Carol Sing that will involve 100 individual well known carols and Christmas Songs. We need your support. Why not pop in to the church at some point during the day and drop some money into our collection? Or join us for a sing?! There will be mulled wine and mince pies towards the end of the afternoon.
